OMO Home Inspections

Licensed Home Inspector / Licensed Exterior Insulated Finishing System (EIFS) Inspector

OMO is a full service inspection company available 7 days a week. All inspections are performed in accordance with the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Practice of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors). We will provide a detailed written report onsite of inspection describing the visible structural systems of the home. The report is based on observed conditions of the house which exist at the time of the inspection and includes recommended maintenance for your new home. We urge our clients to accompany us during the inspection.

Buying a home is probably going to be the biggest financial investment that you will ever make in your life so it is important to protect yourself by having that home inspected by a licensed home inspector. However before you finalize your purchase it is very important to make sure that the home you are buying has no costly defects or potential problems. Hiring a licensed home inspector can make the difference between financial stability and the possibility of facing costly bills for repairs that you never saw.

Our licensed inspector inspects each property from the foundation to the roof checking and testing plumbing, electricity, air conditioning and the structural integrity of the home. Besides checking the working components the inspector performs a radon test, checking the readings for the invisible radon gas, a carcinogenic. He will also look for any signs of wood destroying insects and check for signs of health threatening mold.

When an inspection is performed it strongly recommended that the buyer attend so that the inspector can explain to the buyer step by step what he observes. If the inspector notes a problem than he can explain what the problem is, how the problem can be solved and the approximate cost of the remediation. The client is encouraged to ask questions because our inspectors feel it is an important facet of their job to educate the consumer about the home they are buying. At the end of the inspection the client will receive a written report that will note everything that was observed and comments for remediation if necessary.
